Grainville and Haute Vallee School staff are preparing for their joint INSET day, 4th November 2019. Each school will be closed to students on this INSET day. The staff training and development focus is promoting healthy minds. Grainville and Haute Vallee are working closely with partners Mind Jersey and have surveyed all staff and students on a wide range of SEMH related issues. Both schools place a high priority on good SEMH and the positive impact it has on attendance and achievement. Raising awareness about mental health to provide the best support for students and staff, and at the right time, is our collective ambition. Nearly 200 staff and invited guests will be working together on Monday 4th November to examine SEMH survey data to begin planning action points for the future.
