Science Week was a fantastic celebration of curiosity and hands‑on discovery. Each lunchtime, different members of the science department hosted exciting shows that got students involved in practical demonstrations such as methane bubbles, flame tests, burning magnesium, the Rubens tube, the Van de Graaff generator and even heart dissections. The energy and enthusiasm from students made every session memorable. Alongside the demonstrations, our form groups took part in a “Design a Lab Coat” competition, producing some wonderfully creative and thoughtful entries. We look forward to announcing the winning design at the end of the week!
