
On Saturday 1st February four Grainville students competed in the Rotary Club Young Chef Competition. Our students did us proud and totally held their own. The quality was outstanding. The judges revealed that there were just a few points between the several top contenders. They said ‘It is a shame that we cannot offer prizes to all of them, the standard was so high’. We had double success for best dessert:
Ava with her poached pear and Lauren with her raspberry cheesecake.
Chefs’ complimented all contestants on excellent seasoning, presentation and resilience. A tremendous result from all involved.
