We celebrated the Pride of Grainville Awards in May, one of our biggest events of the year, now in its 17th year. We had over 30 awards for students nominated by staff for overcoming personal barriers in their lives; a commitment to supporting the community and helping others; English as an additional language, and students that have shown great endeavour. It was a fantastic evening that brought staff, students and their families and friends together. Special congratulations went to Jeremy Johnson, Chair of Governors, who was awarded the annual ‘staff award’ for his dedication and long standing commitment towards so many of our students and staff. Mr Johnson announced that he will be stepping down as Chair of Governors in September but will remain as a link governor. Well done to all the award winners, you are most deserving. We are all so proud of you and what you have achieved.
