The Grainville Outward Bound Team Building trip of 2019 to the Lake District has challenged students to ‘dig deep’ and work as a team, supporting one another, and in doing so develop their personal resilience and self confidence. Students having flown to Liverpool, then travelled by coach to their base camp (day 1) before an early rise and a day getting wet by gorging. This was then followed by a boat trip and some natural cliff traverse climbing and for some, a bit of cliff jumping. Students are currently on day 3 / 4, a 32 hour adventure into the wilderness, camping overnight before flying home. What a great personal experience, long to be remembered.
