Grainville school is a proud to be community-minded school and support local charities. Grainville students and staff helped to raise over £1,000 for the annual Lions Club Swimarathon on Thursday 9th March. The Lions Club have chosen the following Jersey charities to be the five principal beneficiaries of the Island’s longest running fundraising event: Brighter Futures, Caring Cooks, the Jersey Centre for Separated Families,Mind Jersey and the Silkworth Lodge. Grainville students and staff swam 474 laps with the staff team recording a record 85 laps and the highest student team swimming 65 laps. (Seven student teams from across all year groups involving 50 students and 1 staff team made up of Mrs Bradbury, Mr Cheeseborough, Mr Smith, Miss Le Guilcher and Mr Gallichan.
