I would like to congratulate all the students in the class of 2020 for their individual achievements and successes in their GCSE examinations.
This success is the result of 5 years of hard work and the partnership between staff, students and families even though this year has been a very unsettling, turbulent and often confusing time for us all in the Covd-19 Pandemic. This year group has helped to shape the school and these young adults have developed skills and positive attitudes for adult life. We wish all of our students the very best in the future, whatever path they choose to take, knowing they will always be part of the Grainville extended family.
We have absolute confidence in the robust Centre Assessed Grades made by teachers, who have maintained a strict adherence to GCSE marking criteria throughout the GCSE courses. We have known our students for 5 years and the grades awarded reflect the real achievement and strengths of individual students across all subjects.
We are confident that these grades will allow our students from Grainville School to access the Higher and Further Education courses that they deserve and we are working collaboratively with the 16+ providers to support our students’ future.
