A huge congratulations to Abigail Ellis in Year 11 on being appointed Cadet of the Year for St John Ambulance.
Each year, St John Ambulance organises a selection process to appoint a Cadet of the Year. Cadets are aged between 10 and 17 years. The Cadets took part in a uniform inspection, first aid scenario, teamwork exercise, interview and group discussion on a current affairs topic.
Cadet Sergeant Ellis commented, “I am very proud to have been chosen as the Cadet of the Year for 2022, I am looking forward to representing St John Ambulance for the next 12 months and am excited about the opportunities ahead.”
Over the course of her term of office, Abigail will represent fellow Cadets at events and ceremonial occasions throughout the year. She also attended the national Cadet of the Year event in the UK in February.
