Accessing Counselling in School

Counselling is a type of talking therapy that can help with a range of issues such as anxiety, low mood, anger, low self esteem, etc. Students can access confidential counselling in school with Scott, the School Counsellor, during their school day. Scott is a fully qualified counsellor who is accredited with the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists.
Students can self-refer for counselling by either coming to see Scott or Mrs Bruce at Student Support (in the corridor next to the Pastoral Hub), by confidential e-mail to s.eastwood@grainville.sch.je or counsellor@grainville.sch.je, phoning 822925 and leaving a voice mail message including their name, or by using the appointment box which is on the wall in the student support corridor. 

Scott also runs workshops for small groups on managing anxiety, exam stress, Decider Skills, mental health awareness etc. To book a place or to find out more please come to student support or ask your Pastoral Leader.
