Nicky Williams
Teacher Governor
Nicky studied Sport and Exercise Science (BSc Hons) at Loughborough University and then went on to complete her PGCE (with QTS). Nicky completed her NQT year at a large school in Hampshire before returning to Jersey to start a post as Teacher of PE at Grainville in 2008. During her first 3 years of teaching she completed an MSc in Education (PE). Whilst at Grainville, alongside her teaching commitments, Nicky has had many whole school responsibilities, most recently as SENCo and Educational Needs Groups Coordinator but is now Assistant Head (Teaching and Learning).
Nicky is a busy Mum of 3 and loves spending time with her young family. She also plays hockey and enjoys running.
