Neil McCluskey
Chairman
Neil retired as Head of Corporate and Premier Banking at Barclays December 2023. He started his banking career in 1980. His connection with the school began when Barclays collaborated with the inception of the Student Business challenge, and deepened when he helped set up a full days interviewing skills workshop for year 10 students, with staff from Barclays. He has also had a period as a member of the Princes Trust Steering committee.
Away from work Neil enjoys spending time with his wife and 4 children. Sport looms large in Neil’s life, having been a County footballer. He is a regular visitor to the London stadium as he is a season ticket.
Neil was elected chairperson of the governing board in November 2019.
