
Clive Armstrong
Invited Governor
Clive Armstrong is a Chartered IT Professional who has been a member of the governing body since November 2010. He currently serves as ICT Technical Manager at Grainville School, bringing extensive experience in information and communications technology within the education sector.
Prior to this role, Clive spent 11 years at Hautlieu School and, earlier in his career, prior to this worked for 25 years as a Quantity Surveyor, providing him with a strong background in project management, financial oversight, and strategic planning.
Clive has a long-standing connection with Grainville School, as both of his daughters attended the school from Year 7 through to Year 11. His eldest daughter went on to study at the University of Exeter, graduating with a First Class degree in History and History of Art and Visual Culture, while his youngest daughter went on to study English and English Literature at the University of Chester, Also graduating with a First Class degree
In addition to his professional career, Clive is a qualified Marine Mammal Medic with the British Divers Marine Life Rescue. Clive managed the out of hours Animal Ambulance service for the JSPCA for ten years, reflecting his commitment to community service and environmental conservation.
