Year 8 Literacy lessons have been working on powerful speeches this half term, culminating with a few of the best speeches from each class being delivered to their year group. Topics ranged from child poverty in the UK, to Donald Trump, to racism, to the real purpose of education. The speakers were incredibly impressive, displaying confidence and using a variety of techniques to engage their audience. Another fantastic example of Grainville developing real life skills.
