We are delighted to announce that, for the second time, Grainville school has been awarded the Quality in Careers Standard Award. This national award recognises the outstanding work that Grainville does in preparing its young people for a world beyond compulsory education. As the only school on the island to currently hold this award Grainville is leading the way in developing careers guidance and education across the island. Jeremy Field, Education Liaison Manager from Skills Jersey who presented Grainville with their award said he is” delighted that Grainville has again achieved this award and continues to work with closely with Skills Jersey to support young people.”
Grainville’s Head of Careers James Bennett said, “I am extremely proud of this accomplishment, this year it has become a requirement in the UK to have this award or be undertaking it. This is now our second award which clearly shows the dynamic and inspiring careers programme we deliver, highlighted through the Gatsby benchmarks.”
