I have almost 30 years’ experience in the financial services industry. I am an experienced, analytical, Regulatory Consultant with expertise in Governance, Compliance and Risk. I have led many project teams in fiduciary, banking and investment businesses, with subject matter knowledge in Anti Money Laundering (AML,) remediation projects. I also have a broader knowledge of the regulatory framework and compliance function and have acted in key roles and also as a support to the key roles, within industry.
I am highly driven and am passionate about relationships, building teams, training and leadership management. In recent years, alongside my consultancy practice, as a qualified professional and personal development coach, I have spent time in the public and private sector, providing training, coaching and mentoring services to individuals and teams.
My passion for people also extends into the 3rd sector where I volunteer to support people with learning disabilities and autistic people as a Director at Beresford Street Kitchen. I am the Chair of the Professional Development Committee with the Institute of Directors and have led the charge on a hugely successful Mentoring programme that I designed and have been delivering for three years. I have also have been involved in the “future leaders” scheme which matches year 12 students, with Directors in many different industries giving the students the opportunity to shadow a Director and to learn from their experience in their chosen sector.
Outside of my working interests, I love music and travel, cooking, reading and spending time with family and friends.
