Grainville entrepreneurs made £2,500 profit in just ten weeks of trading as part of the Channel Islands Student Business Challenge. Students from Year 7 – 10 will now face a ‘Dragon’s Den’experience in front of CEO’s s of the sponsors, Barclays, Ogier, EY and Sure. Students will showcase their business acumen as young entrepreneurs to the judging panel leading up to an awards afternoon in May with all the schools involved. As a school we believe young people can turn creative ideas into a real-life business opportunity. In 2015 ‘Perfectly Pawsem Treats’, a pet treat business run by four Year 10 Grainville students were judged overall winners and claimed the prestigious accolade of Young Entrepreneurs of the year as part of the Student Business Challenge. Good luck to all the students involved in the ‘Dragon’s Den’ next term and a big well done for all the hard work and time that has clearly gone into making their businesses such a success.
