It is our hope that all students meet or surpass their individual CAT targets. It should be noted that one student missing from their final examination can make a difference of -10 or -20% depending on the size of the class.
Therefore when examining success rates one must take into account individual student contexts and the size of the cohort taking the final examination.
In the students and parents area on the website www.aqa.org.uk there is a section "Advice for Students" “preparing for exams” which will help you to help your son/daughter to prepare for their GCSE examinations. This is particularly relevant for Yr 10 and Yr 11.
