Armistice Day:
Monday 14th November 2011
Students and staff marked Armistice Day with great dignity and respect. All students took part in a special Key Stage 3 and 4 assembly organised by Mr De Gruchy and Year 8. The Grainville Section of the Army Cadet Force and Senior Prefects gathered to respectfully witness the Jersey Flag being lowered to half- mast as the school began a two minute silence to remember those service men and women who had lost their lives in wars past and present. At school every poppy had been sold and everyone collectively
paid tribute to those that had fallen- lest we forget.
