Grainville is proud to be the only state 11-16 school in Jersey to have its own Platoon comprising of 3 sections in the Jersey Militia Army Cadet Force.

In total 30 Grainville students are members of the ACF Grainville Platoon.

Students from Years 8-11 can take part in a wide range of leadership opportunities that develop self confidence and independence.

The Jersey ACF is a youth organisation catering for 12 to 18 year olds whose aim is to develop young people in adventurous training, teamwork and leadership. Although affiliated with the British Army, and locally the Jersey Field Squadron, the ACF is not a recruitment arm of the Army. The ACF undertakes a number of activities ranging from camping and field craft to parachuting as well as navigation, drill, shooting, field cooking, first aid, climbing and much more.

It is a great way to have fun and stay active.
