Subject: Mathematics
 Autumn

Number 1: Mental calculations, Special numbers, Order of operations (BODMAS), Fraction, percentages and decimals
Handling data 1: Statistical diagrams, Finding and using Mean, Median, Mode and range.
Algebra 1: Sequences, Functions and graphs.
Shape, Space and Measure 1: Geometry.
Number 2: Written calculations.

Assessments are made at the end of each unit of work.
 Spring

Shape, Space and Measure 2: Measures, area and volume.
Number 3: Fractions.
Algebra 2: Equations, formulae and identities.
Shape, Space and Measure 3: Symmetry and transformations.
Number 4: Percentages and ratios.

Assessments are made at the end of each unit of work.
 Summer

Handling data 2: Probability.
Shape, Space and Measure 4: Constructing shapes and Loci
Number 5: Place value, ordering and rounding.
Shape, Space and Measure 5: Pythagoras’ Theorem and trigonometry.
Number 6: Properties of number, integers powers and roots.

Assessments are made at the end of each unit of work.
