 Technology

In Year 8 our students carry out two projects.

Students can currently choose from; the Crocodile, the Footballer, the Kissing Couple, the Cool Cat, or the T-Rex. Students will also through a series of homework tasks learn about types of motion and a range of different mechanisms to create a Mechanisms Booklet.

Feature Lighting Project

Students perform research to gather information that will help them to generate and develop creative ideas. Students then work with a range of tools, machinery, and equipment (including CAD/CAM technology) to make a battery powered LED light that is fully functional and aesthetically pleasing
