Subject: PSE

During this term the focus will be Career based, in particular considering the Options at 16+. Presentations from visiting speakers, attendance at the Open Morning for Highlands and Hautlieu and individual Guidance Interviews will enable the students to make an informed choice concerning this very important decision.
The PSE curriculum is also supported through the tutorial programme and the Challenge Days.
The main assessment task will be preparation for and attendance at the Career Guidance Interview.

During this term students will complete and submit their 16+ application forms by the end of January. Preparation for interviews, finalising of ROA’s to include CV’s, Actions Plans etc will be the main focus of study.

The main assessment task will be the submission of 16+ application form, complete ROA and preparations for interview.

During this half term students will take part in the ‘Life After Grainville Module’. This involves work on social security, financial awareness, drugs update, sexual health update and personal safety.
