Year 10

Subject: Mathematics

 Autumn 

Foundation: Collecting data, Statistical charts and graphs, Time series, Data sets, Probability, Scatter graphs and correlation.

Higher: Scatter graphs and correlation, Collecting data, Mean median and mode of large data sets, Time series, Statistical charts and graphs, Probability.

The main assessment task will look at all these areas of study.

 Spring

Foundation: Revision for March GCSE Examination Module.
Numbers, Decimals and Fractions, Angles 1 Co-ordinates, Factors and multiples, Patterns and sequences, Triangles and quadrilaterals.

Higher: Revision for March GCSE Examination Module.
Coordinates, Geometry, Patterns and sequences, Perimeter and area, Algebra, Compound Measures.

The main assessment task will look at all these areas of study.

 Summer

Foundation: Fractions 1, Area and perimeter, Angles 2, Algebra, Percentages, Linear graphs, Compound measures, Volume.

Higher: Circles, Percentages, Straight line graphs, Surface area and volume, Powers and standard form. Area and perimeter.
The main assessment task will look at all these areas of study.
