Year 10

Subject: History
School History Project - Option 1 (Medicine Through Time)

 Autumn  During this term students will study:
Medicine Through Time – A Development Study

Ancient Medicine – Prehistoric to Roman
Medicine in the Middle Ages – Early Medieval and Renaissance
 

 Spring

During this term students will study:
Medicine Through Time – A Development Study

18th and 19th Century Medicine
Developments in Surgery

 Summer

During this term students will study:
Medicine Through Time – A Development Study

20th Century to Modern Medicine
Controlled Assessment – A Local Study of La Hougue Bie

Main assessments will be:
Formal GCSE Modular Exam on Medicine – June
Formal Controlled Assessment Exam - July

 

Year 10

(School History Project Option 2) Crime and Punishment

 Autumn  During this term students will study: Crime and Punishment
– A Development Study

Crime and Punishment in the Ancient World
Crime and Punishment in the Middle Ages

 Spring During this term students will study:
Crime and Punishment – A Development Study

Crime and Punishment in Industrial Britain
Crime and Punishment in the Twentieth Century

 Summer During this term students will study: Crime and Punishment
– A Development Study and complete their Local Study Unit

Modern Crime and Punishment

Controlled Assessment – A Local Study in Jersey

Main assessments will be:
