Subject: Drama

During this term students will study
A programme of work reaffirming their performance skills, techniques and knowledge of technical theatre.

The main assessment tasks will look at:

• Baseline duologue assessment.
• Technical Theatre project.

During this term students will study:
Practice exam piece, where pupils are given a play and have to rehearse, learn lines, source props and costume and perform to an audience.

The main assessment task will look at:

• Form, content, style, performance, and collaboration.
• Pupils will then have an introduction to units 1 and 2, and writing coursework in controlled conditions.

Unit 2: Pupils will explore the play-text ‘Teachers.’ A course of 6 lessons will be examined and recorded for moderation. The pupils will then document their exploration in their coursework, written under controlled conditions.
