Here is a simple list to help with revision for your exams.
- Summarise each topic as a spider diagram – perhaps with one topic to each side or piece of paper.
- Try to link ideas together.
- Try to concentrate on the topics you find difficult.
- After a period of revision try to explain to someone else what you have learnt.
- Test yourself by writing out spider diagrams from memory.
- Get hold of past exam papers and questions to practice your exam technique.
- Each week discuss how revision is going with a friend.
Don't worry – most students say they haven’t done any revision even when they have. This is so that if they fail, they can use this as an excuse!
