Mrs Shirley Fitchett
Clerk to GovernorsShirley Fitchett is from London and came to Jersey in 1977. Shirley joined Grainville School in 1993 as the schools receptionist and team secretary, and has been clerk to the Governing Body since its inception in 1995. Shirley started her secretarial career in 1992 and studied RSA and Pitman examinations. She achieved her National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) level 3 in Business and Administration during 1996, and was promoted to Office Manager / Personal Assistant to the Headteacher in 2004. Shirley is married with 2 grown up children and enjoys walking, cycling, needlecraft, and spending time with her family in Jersey and the UK.
