Grainville has had its own Governing body since 1995. It draws on expertise from the community, education and parents and is concerned with the governance of the school.
The Parent Governors are elected and hold office for 1 or 3 years. The Headteacher attends ex-officio and other non-voting participants may be invited.
The Full Governing Body meets termly. Three sub-committees also meet termly. The sub-committees include Finance, Premises and School Improvement (Staffing and Curriculum).
